The Asia-Pacific region defeated the Southeast region 2-0 in the first game of the 2022 Little League World Series. The Asia-Pacific region's starting pitcher, Aidan Miller, threw a complete game shutout, allowing only three hits and striking out 10 batters. The Asia-Pacific region's offense was led by Ethan Salas, who went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

The Asia-Pacific region held on to win the game 2-0, advancing to the next round of the tournament.
