Harpreet, Brar, and Rahul Chahar Join Chennai Super Kings Spin Duo

The Chennai Super Kings have bolstered their spin attack with the addition of Harpreet Brar and Rahul Chahar. The duo joined the team ahead of their match against the Kings XI Punjab in Pune.

Brar is a left-arm spinner who has represented India at the Under-19 level. He was the leading wicket-taker in the 2018 Under-19 World Cup, taking 10 wickets in six matches. Chahar is a leg-spinner who has played for India in One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals. He has taken 15 wickets in 10 ODIs and 11 wickets in 9 T20Is.

The addition of Brar and Chahar gives the Chennai Super Kings a formidable spin attack. They will join Ravindra Jadeja and Imran Tahir in the team's spin department. The Chennai Super Kings are hoping that their new spin duo will help them to win their third Indian Premier League title.

Chennai Super Kings chased down 153 runs with five wickets and one over to spare against Kings XI Punjab in Pune. CSK chased down 205 to beat RCB by 5 wickets in Bengaluru on April 25 2018.
