Synopsis
The Burrowers (2008) is a Western horror film directed by J.T. Petty based on his short film, Blood Red Earth. Set in 1879, the film follows a rescue party led by experienced Indian fighters Will Parcher and John Clay as they set out to find a missing family of settlers in the Dakota Territory.
As the posse traverses the unforgiving landscape, they encounter a sinister force lurking beneath the surface: deadly, subterranean creatures known as "burrowers." With their sharp claws and relentless hunger, the burrowers pose a terrifying threat to the party, forcing them to fight for their survival amidst the unforgiving wilderness.
