Greens Leader Adam Bandt slams the Albanese Government's Budget as a betrayal of its promises to young Australians.

In a fiery speech in the House of Representatives, Bandt said the Budget was "a band-aid budget that fails to address the real challenges facing our country." Bandt said the Budget was a "betrayal" of the Government's promise to make higher education more affordable.

He said the Budget also failed to address the issue of climate change, saying it was "a missed opportunity to take real action on climate change." On the other side, Bandt welcomed the Government's decision to increase funding for public schools, saying it was a "step in the right direction." He said the Greens would continue to fight for a better future for all Australians.
